[Knitting] Knitted sweater with a cable stitch, Busan [Vjazhi.ru] [aegyoknit]
Busan is a warm yet lightweight sweater. The blend of Italian merino, silk, and mohair gives you a feeling of true luxury.
Instructions and knitting pattern for the sweater with a large cable stitch and raglan sleeves are provided.
The natural fibers of merino sheep will keep you warm when needed and add an airy texture to the sweater. The Busan pullover is soft, elegant, and comfortable to wear in any season due to its classic look and trademark wide stripe. Raglan details, 2x2 ribbing, and short rows under the armholes and along the lower edge create a perfect oversized fit. The pullover is knitted from top to bottom.

Finished sweater measurements:
Chest circumference, measured on the finished sweater: 117 (126) 131 (140) cm.
Please note that the width of the finished sweater does not depend on the size and number of stitches, as the cable stitch tightens the fabric. This reduces the excess width by up to 15 cm relative to the specified knitting density and number of stitches.
Length from neckline to lower edge (incl. ribbing): 65 (67) 68 (70) cm.
How to choose a size based on chest circumference:
The photo shows a pullover in size 1, worn by a model who is 160 cm tall with a chest circumference of 78 cm, with a positive ease of 39 cm. It is recommended to have a positive ease of at least 10 cm and a maximum of 45 cm, so be sure to measure yourself before choosing a size.

500 (550) 650 (700) g of Woolia (50 g / 132 m, 100% Merino Gentile Puglia)
To be combined with...
150 g (175 g) 200 g (225 g) of Kid seta (25 g / 212 m, 70% Super Kid Mohair 30% Silk).
Throughout the knitting process, use two strands of yarn simultaneously.
Needles:
3 mm (40 - 60 cm).
5 mm (40 cm, 60 cm and 80 cm).
Sweater knitting gauge:
16 sts. x 25 rows in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking. (See also: text highlighted in italics under Chest Circumference above).
